Time to Say Thanks
The first week of May is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Take the time to think about all that your teachers have done to help you learn. Choose a teacher that you either have now or have had in the past and write a note to thank them. It might be a classroom teacher or one of the specialists. Include specific things that you recall that made them special to you.

Thank you for being my 3rd Grade teacher. I really liked the field trip to the farm to learn about the simple machines. I liked how we had to hammer the nails on to the wood. That was really hard but I got after 3 nails. You were a really fun teacher.
