Thank your teachers
May is the month to show your teachers that you appreciate what they do to help you learn. Write a thank you note to a teacher you have now or have had in the past. Be sure to include specific details to let them know about activities or projects you liked or how they helped you. Don't forget about some of the specialist teachers. I will be giving the teachers this URL so they can read their notes.

Thank you for teaching me in the third grade. I enjoyed being in your class. My favorite subject in math was multiplacation. I'm very good at it now. Another subject I liked to do in your class was Science. I wish Mr. Davidson would teach us more about Science, but he's to busy teaching us other subjects. When you were giving out the awards last year and you going to give me my award, I really thought the other kid should have gotton it. I saw how good he drew and I thought he was a better drawer than me. He could draw a bunch of different things, all I could draw was animals,dragons,and other things like that. I'm a little better at drawing now. If you look in the art room and look at the bullitin board and you see a drawing of a Tucan and a snake {vine snake} and wrighting that says art rules in different colors, I drew it.I also liked that you never really got mad. Thank you for all you have done for me over the past 9 months. You made fractions and decimals look easier than it really was! I had a lot of trouble the first time we started working on them. But you are the only teacher that teached me how to make fractions and decimals easier to learn. Building modles of the landforms, rivers, deltas and everything else was a great soical studies test and a great activity! Fallowing the stock market game was so fun! My team, [team 3] really made a lot of money and learned a lot about the stock. I wish you could move to Maine in the summer and become a 5th grade teacher so I can be in your class once again. I really hate to move! But i will never froget how you are one of the nicest teachers I ever had so far in my 9 year old live!!! Playing dominoes was a great way to have fun on a hot summer's day or a cold winter afternoon. Your easy button cracks me up every time you press it! Poetry is my favorite type of writing! I am going to write you a poem before the end of the year and give it to you! I'll also send in my reading incentive sheets to you every year, even after i get my trophy! That's how much i love reading! i'll also send you copies of every story I write! I love how you polish the floors! They really match my shoes, and your eyes! I'm joking! william thought of the floor idea and the shoe idea, but i thought of the eye idea! Learning about rocks and minarals was a blast! I won't move! I'll hide in the sience closet untill my parents and sibling move without me! And I'll stay back 40,000 times! That's how much I DON'T WANT TO MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!! But unfortunatly I have to... Thank you so much for teaching us a new way to divide big numbers. In the beggining of the year I thought I was going to fail 5th grade because i couldn't do long divsion. You helped me a WHOLE LOT!!! Another thing I like about you is you are funny and like to joke like me. EMD was extremely difficult at times, but you made it fun=). I love 5th grade so much that i'll probably cry when i leave the school. Maybe i'll see you next year when I come to the YMCA in the afternoon. You have made my last year at school the best. I will miss you SO MUCH! I wish i didn't have to leave=(.

Thank you for putting up with my stupid stories that have no point.I'm not sure how many of them have an ending but I don't think there are many. Writing club was alot of , I'm not sure what I'll do on Monday mornings.I will try to finish a story that has a point and an ending. I am sad that my art classes at Cold Spring will soon be over.
